The one thing I would like to accomplish developing this site is to improve my coding skills. When this site first went online in 2003, I hardly new anything about XHTML, let alone the zillions of other web programming languages. As the months and the years went by I managed to get hands on with some of the mainstream web design languages such as XHTML, PHP, JavaScript. I gradually improved the look and feel of the site using my newly acquired skills.
I have created an initial version of my blog using Wordpress. It was pretty daunting at first but some of the online material helped me achieving the task in no time. Now the biggest challenge is to populate it with some useful information. I will try my best to do so on a regular basis.
The images for the slideshows in this website were taken from my friend tombamasta's flickr site. He has captured some of the coolest scenes. I believe he is a great photographer and has a great eye for extraordinary things. Thank you tombamasta for allowing me to use your photos. For text editing I have used TextMate. It is probably the best commercial editor available for Macs. I have also used CSSEdit, Photoshop, Firefox and Safari. This site is tested on Firefox, Safari, Opera and IE6. It may cause problems if you are on IE7.
